Hundreds of hardcover textbooks—many in like new condition—will be available during a Huge Inside Sidewalk Sale in the SCAIHS Resource Room Monday, November 9th through Thursday, November 12th. Most items will be priced between 50 cents and three dollars. Some books have accompanying teacher keys and student workbooks. Subjects include literature, English, handwriting, spelling, health, science, math (some Saxon), social studies and music. Materials are available for elementary, middle school, and high school students. Hardcover math books are so cheap that they could be used as consumables allowing your students to write in them.
Some textbooks are available in quantities which make it possible to purchase multiple copies for classrooms.
Plus, many books from the SCAIHS Resource Room are included in the sale. These are books in new condition that are old enough that they can no longer be purchased from the publishers but are still wonderful resources. These include high school literature, science, math and elective textbooks which originally retailed at well over $40. They are priced at $3.
Do plan to come by and supplement your home school resources while the supplies last! And please spread the word about the sale! (Yes, please do forward this email!) The public is welcome. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. and close at 5:00 each day.
